请问为什么A不对？如果不同领域的方法不能借鉴，那么astronomy借鉴bontanist的方法不就不行了，那么他不是就没法研究了吗？

首先，A选项有个词不好generally，基本上见到这个词这个选项就不太可能正确了。即使generally代表99％的情况，也不代表我们题中讨论的case是不是另外那1％。
其次A选项说的内容不过是重复了题干中已经说过的内容“Exactly the same principle applies in astronomy to the study of the life-story of globular clusters”这不就是A选项的内容？既然题干都在描述中提出来了，这就是前提premise不是assumption了。
这题是类比推理，C选项是补桥，补上了两个方法的共同点，结论才能成立。
