Yap, can't agree more. However, typical MFE program usually focus more on programming. Basically, as far as I know, if students really want to get a job in Quant positions, they do not need a bunch of knowledge in finance either. Still, I believe  the program in WUSTL could be of great help to do financial analysis, valuation or relevant procedures in business problem solving.
