Nice to hear from you, my friend. And I'm so glad to hear that you're already thinking ahead (far ahead!) for those MBA applications. Now, there's a lot you can do in the next two years to improve your chances of getting into a top program. Of course, a lot of it really depends on you, specifically, so I won't be able to truly advise you without knowing more about where you're working and what you're doing But I can tell you this: business schools want to see leaders, they want to see International experience (proof that you can work with people from other cultures and backgrounds), and they want to see someone who is more than just a high GMAT score. So you want to make moves that are going to prove ALL of those things! If you're in consulting, you probably won't get a bit opportunity to take on a leadership role. So you should be seeking that opportunity outside of work. And International experience doesn't mean taking a trip to the US It means working with people from other backgrounds. You've already got a LOT of that from your time in the UK, which is great, but if there's any way to get on projects with teams from other countries at your company, take that opportunity!
There's a lot more you can and should do but, again, it really depends on your personal story and situation! This is a great place to start, though, so good luck!
Best,
