woman:How'd you get so backed up?

narrator:What does the woman imply about the man?

answer:He's been putting off his work.

back up 不是帮助，支援的意思吗？答案什么意思啊？

我知道put off 是拖延的意思，但怎么由对话得出呢？

How'd 这里省略的是would吧，因为后面是get。麻烦大家帮我解释这句啊。
