1. Whether you are in the US or not, You could discuss and explain your situation with the professors in OSU. I don't know anything about Accounting research, but students could do research with professors through email/skype communication, finding relevant literature, writing literature review, collecting data, writing up results etc, but of coz you may find it difficult at the beginning, but I think professors will lead you in a proper direction.
2-3. I assume you really don't know what research is about. Don't choose school based on ranking. Choose schools that fit you (especially professors research interests that align with yours). What are your research interests? If you don't have one, just read more research paper but you don't need to explain too much in your SOP, being too specific will give you disadvantage. What if we don't have professors in these areas, what if this professors doesn't accept student this year. Try to find a school which has several professors whose interests are in your area. For example, I am in OB (management), my interests are leadership, organizational commitment, justice and exchange. Professors understand that students interests will evolve as they are engage in research project and phd seminar. Just remember, find a school that can train you to be a competent researcher (of coz top schools have better resources and professors). This is BYU accounting ranking. http://www.byuaccounting.net/rankings/univrank/rankings.php   Now you can browse from T10 to 100 and shortlist about say 30. And then finalize 15 schools you will apply. Just want to warn you that this is a very time consuming task.

Sure if you want. But I think the best candidates would be phd students/professor in accounting. Good luck with your application

Hi I've just read through your posts, and it seems that you were already in management (OB)? I wanna apply for 2016fall in OB, and I was wondering how to write a competitive SOP since I didn't have any research experience. You suggests that don't be too specific, I am concerned that the committee cannot understand me well if my topics are general on my SOP.
For now, I am trying to include my intern&work experience, group project on OB in grad school, and link these experience with my interests. And those are very specific (emotion intelligence&job satisfaction, organizational justice, and virtual team). However, from what I've read so far, I found myself interested in morality&ethics, negotiations etc. My problem is I don't know how I can write these topics well without mentioning the background(work experience for example). Could you give me more suggestions on how to organize my SOP?

What you have mentioned (emotion intelligence, job satisfaction, organizational justice, virtual team morality, ethics, negotiations ) are not specific at all, they all are in different fields. For example, you interest will be much more specific if you study procedural justice from empirical perspective. Morality & ethics is actually a big field and not so many universities have professors specialized in this area. OB may focus more on ethical leadership and behavior ethics. I think you should only pick three to four topics you like the most and tailor them into your SOP. What lead you to study them or why you want to study them? What is your goal? How do you prepare yourself for Phd program. These are the major questions in SOP.

um, I am so concerned with my lack of research experience, could you give me more suggestions on choosing universities? Undergrad major in HRM, exchange in junior(for a semester), GPA 89/100;  grad major in HRM, MSc 1-year program with no thesis, GPA: 3.4/4.0. G750+,T110+, recommendations from professors in hk, full-time work<1year.
I'm currently working on SOP&S, and not sure if I still have time for a writing sample, but I didn't have any paper published, is there anything I can do before applying?

I suggest 2-3 T30, 3-4 T50, and another 7-10 from T50 to T100.

It depends. If you get a high GPA, good recommendation letters, and potential papers, please go ahead but the opportunity cost would be time and money (if you don't have any funding). I think your profile looks great for top or near top tier schools.
