纠结推荐信可不可以用一篇通用信

决定报美国MBA，如今在加拿大一家银行工作。因为部门特别忙，不想麻烦经理太多。目前定位 new york university。 但是我也不可能只报这一所，万一人家不要我，我也得有别的选择不是么。问题就来了。group manage 和 people manager 都答应帮我写。可是学校都有 on-line 申请，然后他们会发链接到经理链接。如果我申请5所学校岂不是让人家给我写5次，多麻烦人家啊。很过意不去，不知道怎么开口。
有没有办法让他们每人写一封就好，然后每个学校都用同样的，我自己上传或者寄送。

唯一的可能是他们同意把自己邮箱的账号给你
否则是避免不了多次填写online applications
好在推荐信本身的题目 学校之间几乎是一样的（除了个别）
但需要注意不要在推荐信里写错了学校名字

找推荐人写推荐信本来就是一个huge favor
所以一定要找真的有commitment为你写推荐信的人

可以。你把你要申請學校的所有推薦信問題集合在一起，請你的推薦人在他/她的信中一併覆蓋到就可以，不許用提及學校。其實很多學校的問題已經非常相近了，基本不需要太大的調整。後期唯一的問題就是各個學校對字數和格式要求不大一致。

Hello there,
The answer is yes, you will need to get an LOR from two people (managers) and they will need to write an LOR for each school. The good news is that the LORs and the questions are often very similar…. so it’s not thaaaaat much work. But it’s also not going to be exactly the same thing every time, because they fill an online from, and every school has different questions
