Early Round 和 First Round区别是什么啊

看到有些学校有early round 或者early decision，接下来又有1st round，early round和1st有什么区别吗？

Yep,
When you get accepted, you have to lay down the first deposit, which is non-refundable, before you will find out your results from other schools.

early round表示你对这个学校比较认可，你可以理解为国内的提前批，道德上，当你拿到early round的offer的时候，需要withdraw其他所有的申请

CBS和Duke据说early round申请比R1申请要容易进很多，但Tuck据说early round和R1没很有大区别

Good question!

Well “Early Round” is like a round BEFORE round one, and the major difference is that if you apply early round you commit to go to the school - practically this means that if you get accepted and choose to go to another school you could lose anywhere between 3000-6000 dollars. But on the other hand, it does give you slightly better chances of getting accepted.
