我有一个问题想请教大家，judge这题中， A选项中to confine them to存在与to allow members并列的错误，E选项的（to）be confined to 为什么就不会产生错误与to allow members并列的歧义呢？

a motion to allow members to go home  这句话很make sense
a motion to be confied to 这句话是 nonsense 所以这里可以断定 be confied to 不是和 to allow memeber 平行而是和后面to go home 部分平行

有人讲一下the wealth of为什么对应seems吗？如果把wealth当‘价值’讲，确实需要用seems，但是感觉语义上说不通。我的翻译是“神秘化石的价值更容易激起关于鸟类起源的争论”。
如果把wealth当‘大量’讲，只在朗文词典上找到了‘a wealth of sth’的用法且含义上等同于‘a lot of’. 如果是a lot of fossils的话，就应该用seem了。。。且语义上更加讲得通

层主没有搞清楚"the wealth of ..." 和 “a wealth of ..."的区别。

想一下"the number of ..." vs. "a number of ..."的区别。

注意article（冠词）the vs. a
a wealth of 基本上是many/much/a large amount of ...的意思，许多
e.g., The bank's credit card data offer us a wealth of information.
e.g., She collected a wealth of materials for the final test.
类似a number of, a lot of, a large amount of X

the wealth of 是"the" （具体的那个）value of X, 价值，财富的意思
e.g., Adam Smith is the author of "The Wealth of Nations" (国富论是the wealth of nations，而不是a wealth of nations)
e.g., Many start-ups want to dig the wealth of internets.
类似the number of population指的是数量，而不是很多人。a number of people是指很多人。
