逻辑题请教！

The financial losses last quarter were not caused by the recession. Instead,stockholders and customers were reacting to the news,released last week, that our CEO will soon be brought to trial on charge of fraud.

Which of the following,if true, would most weaken the above claim?

A.  Many businesses experienced significant losses last quarter due to the recession.

B. The last financial quarter ended more than two weeks ago.

C.  Other businesses have experienced similar legal trouble without it affecting their finances.

D. Stockholders would likely have been suspicious of the CEO long before he was actually charged with fraud.

E. Many customers have said that the CEO’s legal troubles have affected their perception of the company.

    这道题正确答案是B,因为上星期的news 不可能对two weeks ago的financial 产生影响； 但我想问一下为什么C 不对呢？

     如果原文的因果关系是 legal trouble——>financial losses ，那么C不可以看做是 “有因无果”进行削弱吗？  答案给的是C无关，不能理解，求解惑。

首先，你对前提和结论的理解有误。

此题是一个果因推理找削弱：
前提（果）：The financial losses last quarter were not caused by the recession
结论（因）：stockholders and customers were reacting to the news

刻画出来是 financial losses--->news (箭头指向必要条件)
你的箭头方向就反了。

削弱是 financial losses且 非news，这与C是不同的，C刻画出来是：非financial losses且news，所以C完全跟题干逻辑无关（C是真或假，跟结论成立无关）

如果你上面看不懂也没关系，在果因推理中，“有因无果”进行削弱一定是错误的。因为果因推理中，“因”是结论，“有因”就等于肯定了结论，还怎么削弱结论？

反驳：逻辑基础不好做语法题不一定错
