I think you are right about one thing - that a lot changes in the time that you will be in your MBA. Now what I think, is that for your application it will not be such a good idea to write about PE as your goal - because it really is hard for you to make the argument for it. I mean you don’t have the experience, and this makes the goals seem implausible. Instead choose goals which make sense based on your past experience, an use that as your goal. And then once you get in, you can explore what you really want to do more deeply,
