16年入学，金融类硕士项目美帝前50或前30，真心跪求各位有经验的学长学姐或童鞋们

我有朋友在MIT念，里面人的GRE和GMAT并不是大神。但是口语非常棒，一个人的语言能力很能反应一个人的综合实力。只是个人见解，不必较真。还是那句话，楼主GMAT够用了。任何事情，短板效应。其他分数越高，只能凸显你的短板越低。

说的有道理，学习了！ 谢谢你的宝贵建议！ 我现在虽说近期不考托，但是也在一直练口语，毕竟这个东西是以后也非常重要的东西。 那你觉得我的其他背景在你了解的范围内算什么程度呢？有竞争力吗？ 实习是不是差一点

硬件都很不错。能详细说说你实习的内容吗？做过什么？因为老美他看重成果，而不是实习数量。

1. My feeling is indeed.........really need to push up Oral score too, though somehow can be interview, but still kind of problematic there.
2. I guess the reason behind "他们也不会在意是在美国还是亚太" is indeed..........staying in US + ibanking (FO) + without visa = next to impossible / really need some luck (even from top school top program), so they cannot care about the location as those people consider career path to be more important. (and for the corp side.........it is easier /  better to develop back in country with familiar culture)
that's kind of choice between "career path" "location" and etc........and really personal I will say - nothing is the best for everyone.

why not boost up your math and directly go to MFE then?

the point here is: only 1 or 2 target school (of BB) in US offer MSF, and thus most MSF are offered by lower tier university (that's why people have to talk about location)
but the industry view the name of university quite much for graduate entry, and thus the most important point is indeed to get a degree from famous university, i.e. contradiction with applying MSF indeed (for US)

suggestion = forgot about finance master (only), and consider related programs (economics, financial engineering, statistics, accounting, management and etc...) in top university (M7/S16 or eqv level)

don't agree so, since 综合实力 includes really many things (let think about Ito?)
but that really related to employable in a English-speaking ability, and also kind of indicator for how much one is adopted to the culture.......

很好奇lz的论文发在什么级别的刊物上了。

一堆金融硕士里面佐治亚理工的计算金融怎么乱入了。话说楼主不考虑申请金融工程或者金融数学么，有科研有编程对于金工是优势，GT也是够用了，而且楼主这么纠结于综排的话，金工项目的平均排名会好一点。当然也可以去申统计这种，综排不是更好么。

几个银行的并没有做很专业性的内容，大致中资银行就是大堂的工作，渣打也没有很重要的工作，主要是了解了外资银行的管理模式和一些公司部的业务。证券公司在债券承销部，目前刚开始，独立撰写一些发债的方案，以后应该会跟着项目走，做尽职调查等。 请问你认为这几份实习质量还行吗，有必要再费力寻找特别国际化比如美林大摩小摩吗？

Appreciate! 同意您说的有MSF项目的除了top-tier的个别学校，没有中上的学校开设，所以选择范围只能是在30或50名左右。 那请问您可以给我建议，如果想留美工作，相对最好的选择是怎样？比如怎样选择专业和学校（包括排名位置等），如果决定回国，最好的选择又是哪些？  目前因为学校都没有完全理想的，所以我只能综合排名和项目的质量来看，觉得留美工作目前希望渺茫。 等待您的答复！
