Some of the participants will have the chance to attend our evening Executive Talk by Mr. Robert Hargrove on “Better Leaders, Better China-Achieving Leadership & Business Breakthroughs”
Time: 18:30-20:00 Speaker and speech introduction:
Robert Hargrove, Chairman of Masterful Coaching and co founder, Harvard Leadership Research Project will speak on the topic of Better Leaders, Better World to an exclusive list of CEO's, government officials, managers. He will show in this 90 minute talk how leadership can make a difference in your world whether you are a leader in business, government, education, healthcare etc.
Mr. Hargrove will define what leadership is. In his own words, "Over the decades there have been many people who have talked about leadership characteristics and traits. For example: charisma, Vision, teamwork etc. Yet the acid test of leadership is none of these attributes. It is creating an Impossible Future - by bringing about 1) planned change, 2) continued change, 3) historic change.
If you have secretly held the desire to distinguish yourself as an extraordinary leader, vs the all too familiar ordinary kind of leadership, this fascinating, and intriguing talk will keep you on the edge of your seat. Robert Hargrove will provide ten secrets of becoming an extraordinary leader with wisdom, compassion and humor.
He will richly illustrate his ten secrets with examples of political leaders from recent history such as John F. Kennedy, Deng Xiaoping,, Nelson Mandella, as well as business leaders such as Jack Welch of GE, Michael Dell of Dell Computer, Stephen Jobbs of Apple.
He will then apply these words of wisdom, to the specific issues China is facing today such as 1) maintaining the pace of economic growth, while maintaining social fairness 2) providing adequate healthcare 3) equal access to higher education. 4) developing the next generation of leaders.
Further he will address 4 keys to success for any business today. 1) The Power of taking a stand for an impossible future, 2) Discovering an AHA!!! (For example the next Apple Ipod) 3) Winning the war for the best talent. 4) Execution is more important than strategy.
There will be an Q and A session in where you can ask any question you want.
Admissions: free but RSVP is required based on first-come, first-service base.
