a beach person  就是总呆在沙滩的人，和party girl类型差不多的。

a bite to eat 一口(饭),一点儿(吃的东西)

a charge of pace 节奏的改变，多指某门课太辛苦，修一些轻松的课来调剂。

a far cry from  差的远 或者very different from

a heart of gold 好心人，金子般的心。

a large waist 变胖了，腰粗了。

a lost cause 无用的事情，就是徒劳无用的事情。a  hopeless undertaking

a matter of time 时间问题

a must 必不可少，必须的条件

a passing grade 及格成绩

a phone call away 随时愿意效劳，一个电话的距离。
