我说的都是肺腑之言，可能言语有些地方比较尖锐，希望你能明白我讲的是实在话，不要介意。。。哈哈

再说，我觉得以你目前的年龄和资历，真心不要去和一帮小孩子去搞，多思考思考，其实有很多机会。
consulting其实也就那么回事，等你把你的事情做成了，会发现MBA CONSULTING不是最重要的

不介意不介意，还是那句话，感谢还来不及呢。下周约了一些人聊聊，有年过四旬还在kellogg上part-time MBA的娃幼儿园同学的爸爸（娃上名校幼儿园和名校MBA一样，都是靠校友的networking啊，呵呵）, 以前的同学美国PhD+MBA现在在国内做投资的，Booth part time MBA毕业的同事．．．看看会不会有新的想法。

说实话，这事儿不靠谱，原因是VC/PE需要1-懂行业或者公司管理的人，也就是做过咨询或者在行业内有丰富commercial经验的人，2-能做deal的人，也就是做过投行（非常少数情况下四大）的人，所有其实lz并没有任何他们需要的经验。

如果是能给的建议，有这么几个吧：

1，继续过有房有娃有绿卡的美帝中产生活，这其实也已经是live happily ever after了
2，通过公司内部换岗或者外部机会，去到Commercial方向，往GM的路线走
3，如果有好的想法和机会，可以考虑回国创业

谢谢回复。其实我想读PT MBA也有走技术管理路线的想法。以前公司比我高一级的同事跳回国内某民企做了CTO。虽然是个例，但是机会还是要留个有准备的人吧？综合考虑看来这是比较合理选择。

建议跳槽回国拿个好offer（高职位）
或者
创业
不建议：咨询。主要是Entry level不适合这个年纪，高级别的Offer以楼主的经历又很难拿到。同时life style不适合有家有口的人。

Hey dude,
good to hear from you!
First of all, look at it this way  crises are GOOD! Because they bring change. and this is what you are doing now!

Now I don’t really yet know enough about you (like do you have  a GMAT? Do you have volunteer work? extra curricular? What college did you attend? what was your GPA?) to say exactly what the right path for you is. First of all I see several possible paths for you:

1. Full-time MBA in Asia (HKUST, CEIBS, INSEAD etc.)
2. PT MBA anywhere you can still work from
3. EMBA anywhere (although you may want to look at joint EMBA programs like HKUST/Kellogg, which may help you bridge towards your goals)

So your dream is real! And if you write me more about the specifics of your job, of what you do, of what you want to do, of how well you have progressed, etc. etc. I may be able to help out more!

             Great to see your post, u just mentioned the EMBA， I just wonder how a EMBA (especially a Joint EMBA)can benefit a 35-38 person in both career enhancement and network and global vision?

              somebody say EMBA is not like MBA， to some extent a EMBA is not worthwhile, do u agree with that?
