Equipped with outstanding knowledge on a specific field, people undoubtedly lay a solid foundation for their future. Therefore, when it comes to the issue which factor have a much greater impact on people’s success, adaptation to varied environment or having expertise in one field, many people insist that specific knowledge is more essential. Nevertheless, I am firmly in favor of the idea that people who have a carving for success in study or job are supposed to give priority to adaption to their changing surrounding.

To the very basic first, as modern society keeps marching forward, people who make adaptations to their circumstances can update their knowledge quickly. Granted, having expertise enables us to have a good understanding of knowledge in one field. But this knowledge will become out-of-date if it is not revised according to the change. Consequently, people with old-fashioned skills seldom can compete with those who have novel knowledge. In sharp contrast, making adaptations to new development offer us cutting-edge skills, and thus gives us a competitive edge in future race. For example, through adaptations, students can obtain the current information system, thereby making them outstanding in their peers; businesspeople can acquire how to make new marketing strategy, which enables them to attract more consumers. Thus, making changes to our environment is really critical to us for succeeding in our academic work or career.

Beyond that, circumstance adapting is of importance to us for correctly applying our knowledge into practice, which is a tool by which we can make a key to the gate of success. It is widely accepted that making advantage of knowledge to deal with various issue it more essential than knowledge itself. Obviously, only through making adaptations to our environment could we employ our knowledge in a more effective and efficient way, which only having professional knowledge can never bring. This point may be a little abstract, let me quote a convincing example. Last year, my friend Frank obtained a doctor degree in marketing, then he got a position in a food company as a marketing manager. No one in his company can compete with him in the aspect of marketing knowledge. However, the marketing strategy he made had no appealing to consumers. The reason is that his strategy does not fulfill consumers’ constantly changed need. He ended up losing his job in this food company. This case illustrates that instead of having abundance intelligence in one field, making adaptation to circumstance which is changing plays a more positive role in our success.

To sum up, although having professional knowledge make us have a solid understanding of one specific field, yet its impact on one’s success is far weaker than that brought by obtaining adaptations to environment. Adaptations make sense not only because they can keep our knowledge up-to-date, but also because allow us to make use of our knowledge in a proper approach.

Equipped with outstanding knowledge on a specific field, people undoubtedly lay a solid foundation for their future.(第一句感觉怪怪的,分词的形式出现的观点不是句子的重点内容,个人觉得如果改成Once equipped with outstanding knowledge on a specific field, people will undoubtedly lay a solid foundation for their future是不是更好?) Therefore, when it comes to the issue which factor have (has) a much greater impact on people’s success(逻辑不是很对,应该是on people’s being success,因为这时候还没有成功吧,所以还没有success), adaptation to varied environment or having expertise in one field, many people insist that specific knowledge is more essential.

In sharp contrast, making adaptations to new development offer (offers) us cutting-edge skills, and thus gives us a competitive edge in future race. For example, through adaptations, students can obtain the current information system, thereby making them outstanding in (among) their peers; businesspeople can acquire (the knowledge of ) how to make new marketing strategy, which enables them to attract more consumers. Thus, making changes to our environment is really critical to us for succeeding (for us to succeed) in our academic work or career.

Beyond that, circumstance adapting is of importance to us for (这里用for作为因果联系有点牵强,改成in its是否会更好?) correctly applying our knowledge into practice, which is a tool by which we can make a key to the gate of success. It is widely accepted that making advantage of knowledge to deal with various issue(s) it(is) more essential than knowledge itself. Obviously, only (only去掉)through making adaptations to our environment could we employ our knowledge in a more effective and efficient way, which only having professional knowledge can never bring. This point may be a little abstract, let me quote a convincing example. Last year, my friend Frank obtained a doctor degree in marketing(大写), then he got a position in a food company as a marketing manager. No one in his company can(could) compete with him in the aspect of marketing knowledge. However, the marketing strategy he made had no (was not appealing是形容词) appealing to consumers. The reason is(was) that his strategy does(did) not fulfill consumers’ constantly changed(都已经是constantly了,应该用changing) need(needs). He ended up losing his job in this food company. This case illustrates that instead of having abundance intelligence in one field, making adaptation to circumstance which is changing (用changing circumstance会更好。没有必要用定语从句。)plays a more positive role in our success.(与之前一样的问题,in reaching our success)

To sum up, although having professional knowledge make(s) us have a solid understanding of one specific field, yet its impact on (reaching) one’s success is far weaker than that brought by obtaining adaptations to environment. Adaptations make sense not only because they can keep our knowledge up-to-date, but also because allow us to make use of our knowledge in a proper approach. (Adaptations make sense because not only they can keep our knowledge up-to-date, but also they allow us to make use…)

同学我觉得你的文章写得还是很不错的,句式变换啦, 词汇都很丰富。但是文章中有很多小错误以及逻辑不清的地方,我帮你改出来啦。欢迎保留意见,继续讨论!Fighting~!

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
高薪没什么假期的工作与很多假期工资不高的工作,哪个好?为什么?

At present society, a high-paying and less vocation job can undoubtedly enable us to improve our living quality. Yet is it warranted to reach the conclusion that employees are supposed to give priority to a high salary instead of a long vacation? Perhaps not; decent salary does not equate with happy life. People who have long vacation and low salary can enjoy their life due to the healthy lifestyle and the accumulated knowledge.

To the very basic first, having more vacations enable us to improve our health condition. In modern society, due to the huge pressure accumulated from work, we spend an immense number of time sitting in frond of the computer screen to complete our loads of assignment. At the same time, we tend to consume lots of junk food, such as potato crisps, Cock, fried chicken. Consequently, we consume more calories than we can spend, which result in numerous diseases, such as obesity, heart disease. When we have more vacations, we not only can devote more time to do physical exercise, but also can prepare nutrient food for us, which contributes a lot to our fitness. A recent survey conducted by Peking University indicated that 90% of employees work overtime owing to the huge strain coming from job. The researcher also points out that the wise solution to address this problem is to give employers more holidays to relax them.

Besides physical fitness, employees can be equipped with more opportunities to obtain up-to-date knowledge and skill linked to their work, which a high-paying and less vocation job can hardly render. With more free time, modern people not only can appreciate professional books in library but also can further their major study by attending college courses. The more vocation people can enjoy, the more outstanding they will become in their field. Nevertheless, it is impossible for those who seldom have vacation to enhance their work skill. This point may be a little abstract, let me raise a convincing example to drive it home.
My close friend Frank, a Marketing manager in a food company, has more vacations. In his vocation, he reads a myriad of marketing books. As a result, he has a better understanding of how to sell their products and services, how to make advertising to attract their consumers, and how to build solid relationships with their consumers, which give him a competitive edge in his company.

Granted, a high paying job makes it possible for us to make a living since the expenditure on life is on a rise. Without money, a wife cannot afford to buy the daily necessities, such as clothing, food; a husband cannot have the chance of extending his social net work which cost a lot of money; a child cannot appreciate a cartoon movie in film theatre. However, it does not necessarily follow that people can enjoy life with a high-paying job since they can seldom have time to spend their incomes. Thus, even with a high income, employees can hardly achieve the sense of happiness.

To sum up, although a high-paying job enables us to purchase assorted stuffs, yet its impact on our life is far weaker than that brought by a job with more free time. Employees make use of more vacations not only to upgrade their fitness but also to obtain work attainment. I am therefore still in favor of the idea that even with less income, people who have more vacations can lead a more colorful life than others.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Movies and televisions should always show audience good people are being rewarded and bad people are being punished.

As modern media keeps marching forward, mass media, such as movies and televisions, provide us a diversity of excellent programs. The programs which show people in good behavior are being punished and those in bad deed are being rewarded undoubtedly catch audiences’ eyes. As for me, however, I am firmly in favor of the idea that movies and televisions should give priority to the content of people’s positive performances are being encouraged and people’s negative deeds are received punishment.

The most critical role movies and televisions play in students’ life is to set an outstanding example for them. Through watching movies and television programs, students are capable of distinguishing between right and wrong, and thus have favorable behaves in school and society life. In the sharp contrast, if people in the mass media benefit a lot from their unfavorable behaves, it is impossible for students to tell what is expected to do. What’s worse, they may imitate the characters, which exert detrimental effect on students. For instance, if a student watch a movies which shows a girl who told lies to others did not get punished for her bad habit, he may consider telling lies as an acceptable behave in society. He ended up being dishonest to his friends. Apparently, the teenager is misled by this movie. Thus, the movies and televisions should teach students to regard good people as their models.

Apart from the huge influence on students’ behavior, mass media has tremendous impact on businesspeople. In increasing competitive market, businesspeople are confronted with fierce competitions. In order to making a living, many of them take unfavorable methods to make money, from discharging numerous sewage into the water to chopping off a myriad of forest to committing a crime. These performances are supposed to be punished in the movies and television programs, thus warning these businessmen not to behave in the same way again. A survey conducted by Peking University shows that a large quantities of companies run in illegal ways in Beijing. The researcher, in the survey, also points out that after television programs showing that the illegal behaviors are supposed to get both economic and criminal punishment, 76% of these companies change their ways of running business into legal ones.

To sum up, to equip teenagers with acceptable behaviors and to teach businessmen to earn money in a legal approach are the two reasons for my insisting that movies and television should show the audience what is right and what is wrong under any circumstances.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
For successful development of a country, should a government focus its budget more on very young children education rather than on universities?

At present society, education of young kids undoubtedly lays a solid foundation for a country’s prosperity. Hence, when it comes to the issue whether the authority should allocate its budget to children’s education rather than universities, some people argue that children’s schooling has the priority. However, these people fail to take into account the fact that the solid base does not equate with the prosperous development of a country. Equipped with enough money from governments, universities’ education can exert a more far-reaching impact in a country’s prosperous growth.

To the very basic first, the government’s budge enables universities to cultivate a myriad of experts in a diversity of fields, which make it possible to develop a country. With plenty of money, a university can construct numerous education facilities, from library to laboratory, thus providing its students with an excellent academic environment. In such an environment, students have the opportunities to further their academic study and have expertise in specific fields, which is a tool by which the country can make the key to the gate of success. A recent study conducted by Peking University indicates that people with expert knowledge play an essential role in China’s development. The researcher, in the survey, also points out that after China’s authority invest more money on university’s education, the number of experts is on the rise.

In addition to boosting the quantity of experts, the government’s budget on university also enhances the technological development. Few can deny that technology’s growth play a key role in a country’s future. Through investing on universities, experts in various fields can make numerous novel inventions, which give a country a competitive edge in international competition. In order to see this point clearly, let me raise a convincing example. My close friend Frank is a computer science expert in New York University. With the financial assistance from the government, he has invent several novel software, which can bring various rewards to the government. Nevertheless, even government place economic emphasis on children’s education, yet it is impossible for very young children to make any inventions. Thus, a country can benefit a lot from investing on universities.

To sum up, to foster a diversity of experts and to develop technology in a rapid pace are the two reasons for my insisting that government should allocate more money to universities rather than very young kids.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
是否同意政府不应该给艺术家(musician, filmmaker, artist....)任何 financial support

It is widely accepted that artists do not contributedirectly to economic growth of our society. Based on this conception, somepeople hold the idea that governments should never afford artists any types offinancial support. However, these people fail to take into account the basicfact that artists exert profound impacts on the development of a country. Therefore, government should place economic emphasis on artists. Equipped with enoughmoney from the authority, artists not only can relieve us from mental pressurebut also can set an excellent example for us.

To the very basic first, the products of artists, such as movies, novel, andmusic, are capable of improve citizen's mental condition. This is because inmodern society, we are all under huge pressure accumulated from our toils. Morespecific, in order to making a living, we have no choice but to work overtimeespecially in economic recession. Consequently, many of us suffer from psychological diseases.Attending a live music concert or appreciating a comedy enable us to forget thework strain and get fresh in an efficient way, resulting in relieving ourmental pressure. A recent survey conducted by Peking University indicates thatthe number of workers who suffer mental disease is on the rise. The researcher,in the survey, also points out that after listening to music for one hour, 78%of people get relaxed from their work.

Inaddition to helping us keep mental fitness, artists also set excellent examplesfor us through their products. For instance, a filmmaker can show us how ahistorical hero dedicates his whole life to save his nation in a movie; awriter can teach us how to distinguish between right and wrong through recordinga hero's story; and a painter can reveal us how a scientist makes all his effortto create inventions to make contributions to society in his theme gallery. Itis essential for us to learn an invaluable lesson from all these outstanding model, which can give us a competitive edge in the future race.

Nevertheless, there is little doubt that government cannot receive direct economic rewardsfrom investing on artists. Take my close friend Frank for example, Frank is afilmmaker. Last year, he got a fund from local government. In order to makemore vivid and assorted film pictures, he spent all this money on improving hisfacilities, and thus he produced a successful movie. In this process, however, governmentcan hardly benefit a lot. Yet it is clear to me that the financial benefit mayseem to be minor when compared with all those tremendous influences brought by artists. Thus, government should give economic priority to artists.

To sum up, even though, in perspective of the government, artist cannot bring financialrewards, it does not necessarily follow that government should never offer economic supports. Investing on artists makes sense not only because they can alleviateour mental pressure, but also because they teach us to learn from anoutstanding model.
