这题答案选E， 可是我认为应该选D。 题目的结论是 BBB 的利润和sales会下降很多， 问assumption。E说BBB 不和国外的公司做生意， 取非就是说和国外的公司做生意就会不会降低利润。 那么既然如此， 也就是说他在国内公司悲剧前也是和国外公司做生意的。  假设从国内公司赚的利润是A， 国外公司是B， 那么 国内公司倒闭后，BBB的利润还是从A+B 降到了 B的， 也就是说并不能反对结论。   答案D的话是从内部的Expense入手， 因为公司不管给国内还是国外供货， 他的Expense是可以一次统计的， 假如expense 今年反而增加了， 则说明货物的需求量反而更加大， 从而反对结论。

我百思不得其解为何选E， 求指教。

D) is not necessay. Even if the BBB's operating expenses have increased this year, a sharp decline in sales volume and revenue for this year could still be true if all the products just stay on shelves.

E) on the other hand, has to be true. If you negate E), you have:
The Brindon Bolt Barn is a company that gets the great majority of its business from customers outside Brindon County.
If so, it is NOT undoubtedly that BB will show a sharp decline in sales volume and revenue for this year as compared to last year, because it is vey likely what is lost in B county is more than compensated by sales outside B county. Thus, E) is the correct answer.
