经过学校图书馆网站找到的。
大家主要看最后一页的conclusion,和jj一模一样,估计就改写了以下把。

To sum up, both rising per capita income and a rapidly increasing government expenditure appear to account for the rapid growth of the service sector in these countries. One implication of the recent attempts by all governments to contain fiscal deficits by controlling the growth in government expenditure may be a somewhat slower expansion of the service sector in the coming years. On the other hand, an increased economic performance and he concomitant rise in per capita income in the future may mean a somewhat faster service sector expansion than experienced in the past. Finally, recent stabilization and liberalization efforts in these countries are expected to stimulate industrial develop- ment. This may affect the balance in favor of a faster growth in the non-service sector, particularly the manufacturing sector. On balance, it seems likely that the relative growth of the service sector will continue, albeit at a slower pace.

为什么上传不了pdf附件啊!!!
不知道为啥从world com下的pdf怎么都不能传附件,我把大致的内容给贴在第二楼了。大家费费眼睛看看把。

A relative growth of the service sector has been one of the important features of the world growth patterns in recent years (see, e.g., Ansari, 1988; Kadar, 1984; Shelp, 1981)‘. Whereas in the developed countries, both the manufacturing and the primary sectors have experienced a relative decline, in the developing countries the manufac- turing sector has shown a steady increase in its share of the GDP. Only the primary sector has experienced significant declines. The primary sector, which accounts for about one-third of the total economy, has cushioned the manufacturing sector against any resource bottlenecks. The primary sector in the developed countries has failed to provide this cushioning effect as it has already become a small proportion of the total economy. The net result is that while the growing service sector has meant a relative decline of the manufacturing sector in many developed countries, the developing countries have managed to achieve significant growth in their manufacturing sector.
Another difference between the experience of the developed and the developing countries is that whereas the developed countries have experienced a relative increase in the GDP share of the service sector in phase three of their development, the service sector in the developing countries has become the largest sector in terms of its GDP share while these countries are still in the second phase of their development*.

Only the first paragraph is similar. Don't need to read the rest. I took it last night and remember this passage pretty well. First paragraph pretty much sums it all up

Yea i took it last night and read that article, i wrote it in my GG thread http://forum.chasedream.com/GMAT_Math/thread-644694-1-1.html

the passage was pretty simple, paragraph two is more relevant so dont waste time reading the other paragraphs. Only know about the primary sector and manufacturing sector. they will ask you comparsion questions and main idea. Also another question on how developing countries handle their investment in different sectors.
