Normally people choose to attend the open day (a full day) but I didn't. I chose to have a 30 min interview with a faculty member. Interview is a chat regarding your application material and assess your personality. Nothing technical, all are about what you had wrote down on application form (well that includes your 3000 words esssay and 8900 charaters of hobbies and interests).
