      (2)the tip caculated by Martin was 8

3.If 500 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to x and 400 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to y, which multiple of 100 is closest to x+y?

4. If w,x,y and z are intergers such that w/x and y/z are intergers, is w/x + y/z odd?

    (1) wx+yz is odd

1. 选C，用带入法最简单

条件1 说明n不是偶数，所以你带几个奇数进去，发现余数不固定

条件2 说明n不是3的倍数，同理发现余数不固定

两条件合在一起，于是只能取5，7，11这样的数，余数都是固定的。所以选C

2。选B，极限法

条件1， bill在15到50之间，小费比例就在2/15到10/50之间，所以不能确定是否大于15％

条件2， 小费是8，那bill在40－49之间，小费比例在8/40-8/49之间，区间大于15％，所以选B

在推理的时候有个错误，就是两个奇数相除得来的商确定是整数了，也不能确定它是个奇数的


我看到这题是这么想的：
条件1单独推不出来

由条件2推出xz必定为奇数，所以x和z都是奇数
又w/x and y/z 都是整数
所以w和y也都是奇数
还是不能确定啥

那toghther呢？
又看条件1，突然发现条件2成立的时候条件1时不成立的= =
也就是说，条件1成立的时候条件2肯定不成立

所以说当条件1成立的时候，wz+xy是even，四个数字肯定不是全奇，所以wz和xy都是偶，四个数种至少有两个偶数
又wx+yz 是odd
所以wx和yz中一奇一偶，至少有两个奇数
综上，四个数里两奇两偶：若w、x为奇，则z、y为偶
若w、x为偶，则z、y为奇

所以w/x+y/z=(wz+xy)/xz=偶/偶=偶

一个奇数除以奇数结果是整数的话，为什么结果不是奇数呢，因为无论分子分母都没有2这个因子，结果也就不会有2这个因子

还有偶/偶的结果并不是偶数，比如6/2＝3

(1) alone, w=9,x=3,y=6,z=2, wx+yz is odd, w/x + y/z is even.
           w=9,x=3,y=6,z=3, wx+yz is odd, w/x + y/z is odd.
    so not sufficient.
(2) alone, w/x + y/z = (wz+yx)/zx is odd since numerator is odd --suff

so answer shall be B.
