本月AWA JJ中一道AI 题目。

Public figures should avoid expressing opinions about things that they have not personally experienced or been directly affected by.

我个人对前半题题目的理解为：公众人物要避免对自己没有经历过的事情发表意见，后面半句or been directly affected by我想了半天，理解为“避免对自己产生影响的经历发表意见”，不知道是不是切题，请教一下大牛们，也请教一下该题的思路。

这是省略啊，完整的句子应该是：

Public figures should avoid expressing opinions about things that they have not personally experienced or  (they have not) been directly affected by.

意思是公众人物不应对  他们自己没有亲身体验过的 或者 自身未受其影响  的事情 发表意见。
