1. What are characteristics of a good teacher?

 

As far as I am concerned, a good teacher should first be friendly. Because when a teacher became one of my friends I could learn things more quickly. And this friendship makes me feel that to attend the class is just a game with my friend. Also a good teacher should be patient. Because some of the students may need more time to absorb what is taught. And a teacher’s patience could help them. Else they will feel frustrated.

 

2. Would you like to take a vacation in the mountain or at the ocean?

 

I would like to take a vacation in the mountain. Climbing the mountain is amusing. The scene changes with my steps. Every time I stop for a break, a brand new picture is just in front of me. The air is fresh in the mountain, so I can totally relax myself in it. When I finally conquered the mountain, I feel I have done something successfully. Looking at the mountain under my feet is a pleasure. That is why I like to take a vacation in the mountain.

 

我自己觉得我说话比较慢45s只能说到90个词左右，有没有问题啊？

还想请教一下ibt的作文要不要自拟题目啊？

看了楼主的两段文字，觉得topic development和language use都是不错的，关键就在于说出来时的delivery如何了~我试着看着文字念了一次，语速比较缓慢那种，也只用去30秒，不知道楼主的语速大致是如何，这个不好判断了~说话慢其实没有问题，关键是说得慢的话说话的内容更显重要，45秒内必须让rater觉得你言之有物，不是因为实在想不到东东可说所以说得如此慢。

第二个问题，题目可要可不要，这个看各人喜好了~偶的个人意见是，如果是一个流于俗套的普通题目，那不写也没啥损失，不会影响成绩滴~

我是自己先说，再用mp3听写下来的，第一个说了37s，第二个说了40s（中间顿了一下），看来我的语速的确是比正常的语速慢，自己算了一下，大概 110 words/min。怎么才能提高速度啊？我一边想一边说的时候，速度上不去啊！
