Absolutely agree that free of charge to the members of CD. That's one of major reason CD impressed everyone. However, CD still has to make ends meet. After all, CD need money to run...If CD run out of "business" because of money, eventually, everyone will be affected.
A good wish may not be a good practice. In reality, "marketing"- demands drive "business", but not wishes...
Advertising is one way right now, and donation maybe another way around when more and more CD members graduate from B-Schools. However, there should lots of other ways around, such as members have to take their duties before they become senior members or get more services (that happens already), consultant service and online special service might work as well.... The idea here is that to get more and more members involve in. and lead them to release their potential. I think that's one of dreams of CD born. In short, the more the member engages in, the better the CD will be.
I'm wondering whether any CBSF member concentrates on nonprofit organization management now...They might have more senses...
