这学校的economics 和 finance很强，MBA规模较小。但最近几年排名一直不高。不过换了个新的dean，希望有所改观。如果你的背景是finance，以后也打算从事这个工作，可以申请simon。

我也申请了这个学校.这个学校在金融方面比较专,我觉得尤其在会计方面比较强.这个学校的PHD很多都在MBA教会计.我也听说了很多关于Dean在做很多改进,目前这个学校的的排名有上升的势头

不过个人对这个学校的印象有些改变,在我提交申请之后的1个半月之后才给我发来面试的邀请,期间我多次打电话,给我的回话都是"我们学校的人太少,处理比较慢,你再等等."招生的时候都这样的服务,恐怕毕业找工作也会有些问题.(这仅仅是我个人的感受,供你参考一下.)

Simon is working to change its image as pure finance school. Last week, Simon School and the University of Rochester Medical School just launched the Ph.D./MBA dual degree program focusing on the healthcare, which is the first Ph.D./MBA program in top B-schools. According to the outline of the program, UR Medical School will provide a tremendous financial support to the dual degree students. Prof. Larry Von Horn, who is the coordinator of this program, said the reason for this program is the MBA students who pick up healthcare as concentration are the best selling students in Simon, and he usually has more job opportunities than the qualified MBA students.

据我所知学校规模是比较小，经济学比较强。前两天收到学校寄来的信，说是可以免去125美刀的申请费。大家感兴趣的可以去试试。信里说我可以留着寄来的那封信，明年申请的时候也可以免掉。
