Opportunity cost analysis for Choosing GSB or Kellogg.
Chicag Tuition: $3650 per course in 2004 ~ 2005 (start from this summer, it increases to $3880),   arking $10 per visit (suppose that you take 2 courses per quarter, each course has eleven classes. Every year you need to pay 4( quarter) X 11 (classes) X 2 (courses) X $10 = $880. Each course you pay parking for 11 X 10 = $110.
Kellogg: Tuition: $3637 per course in 2004 ~ 2005 ( it may increase in the next quarter).   arking: you can get annual pass for $295
Cost for whole MBA study:
Kellogg: $3637 X 20.5 (total 20.5 courses) + 2.5 (assume that you take 8 courses per year and finish MBA in 2.5 years) X parking = $73477.5
Kellogg also offer three free courses after you finished MBA. It adds the course discount for 3 X $3637 = $10911. So the cost of Kellogg should be $73477.5 - $10911 = $62566.5
Chicago GSB: $3650 X 20 + parking( 20 X$110) = $75200
If you choose GSB, the opportunity loss of your choosing is $75200 - $62566.5 = $12633.5.
