楼主想多了。C选项只是说M的利润比W高，不是说价格。而且就算M价格更高，人们也不一定就会去价格低的（文章完全没提到这方面信息）。
相比之下，B选项就很好的解释了：M的开张吸引了很多曾经不在这个小镇吃饭的人，但因为M坐不下这么多人，考虑到小镇只有两个餐馆，这些人肯定就去W了。
