这是怎么个意思？ 两排服务员带着兴趣，平静的看他们？ 红色的怎么个搭配啊？

句子结构还好，the equanimity of men 是整体，who是作为men 的定语，只是翻译的话，感觉不容易准确滴翻译出来

我觉得要精确翻译，需要结合上下文。

   survey their entrance with the interest of men …… ?  
感觉这句话中的survey 应该是注视吧？注视他们进入，如果是调查询问他们进入好像不搭配。
不管那个意思感觉放到一块都不好理解啊

如果是survey the entrance of the men ,或者 survey their entrance with the interest 还好理解

of men 是后面的那个equanimity的，不是前面的，然后百度到了两个东西，不知道能不能帮助理解句意，结构肯定是没问题的。这段话貌似是小说里面的http://rainbow.jit.edu.cn/simple/printpage.asp?id=292和http://www.gradesaver.com/maggie ... udy-guide/section4/，文学性的语言，表示准确滴翻译过来，压力很大

那就是说这个并列结构是； survey their entrance , and survey the equanimity of men .

我一开始以为是 survey their entrance with the interest ,and with equanimity of men.

但是with the interest 作状语修饰 survey的话为什么不with interest ?而要加the?  而且前边说注视他们进来，后边说注视着男人的平静……表示很不能理解

你发的那个网址我看了没有中文翻译啊

不需要理解，关注结构就行了，像这种文学作品，准确理解需要了解背景的
