An assistant professor at department of Nutrition at Texas Tech University is seeking an outstanding PhD student. Her current research focuses on using natural compounds and nanotechnology to prevent or cure chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, cancer and obesity. The PhD applicant has to have a Master degree (better in nutrition, medicine, pharmacy or biology), TOEFL and GRE scores, a personal statement, a resume, 3 letters of recommendation and transcripts.
