我的理解是：
这是一个归纳题，从题干中能直接得出。第一句话中说Transnational cooperation among corporations is experiencing a modest renaissance ，renaissance复兴就说明了在过去它兴起过，辉煌过，最后没落了，但是最近又开始复苏了，modest说明它的程度，这样可以由得到C。
A选项中projects的大小和tansnational cooperation 和single cooperation之间能力的比较 题中没有提到，只是提到了tansnational cooperation比single cooperation 更容易获得合同，但是前者比后者单独做projects要利润少。

more common and less common 个人理解就是“适中”modest的意思， more or less 的意思不是或多或少吗。用在这儿，就相当于不多不少的普遍，普遍程度适中。
