HELP!! My parents own the company, should I tell?

Pros and cons. I actually worked in my parent's company. Would like to learn more about leadership/management so that I will be able to take over the company smoothly.

Should I tell the Adcom? I am aftraid that once I told them about that, they will doubt on my recommendation letters (even I am as good as it describes, they would presume that it's been exaggerated), they will also doubt on my promotion...the tittle doesn't mean anything to them

On the other hand, if I tell them. I am able to talk about my dream to lead/reform/extend the company unpon my graduation--which is true.

my parents own a Exporting company that exports Automobile parts from China/Taiwan to Nigeria. It's a pretty profitable LTD company, solely owned, operated for more than 20 years.

What should I do?

That's a very good topic that could make you unique in entrepreneurship, which could be better if your career goal is related. Lots of US top MBA look for people with family business background, just go ahead to tell the truth and be yourself. You will acheive.

why not? You can provide you very good why MBA reason and, it's not a shame anyway if you did good in a company, even though it's owned by your family

tell your cultrual crush with different countries. tell your leadership stories no one else have.

get your recommendation from the clients. and get your passion into your essays. and you are good to sail!!
