FrenchTimber is looking for someone suitable for the position of its representative in China.

Located in Shanghai, the person will be mainly charged in:

-        Gather and report the market information and data of wood industry in China

-        Develop knowledge and contacts of timber industry in China

-        Organization and participation to wood related trade shows in China

-        Assistance to delegation visiting by French and Chinese delegation

-        Identify and specify market opportunities for French timber industry companies

-        Maintainand operate FrenchTimber's online media (WeChat, etc.)

-        Daily work upon the orders from his/her manager or director and making specific reports.

We’d like that you are someone:

-        Have basic knowledges about the material of wood and forestry industry

-        Fluent English, writing and speaking; French language and international experiences is a bonus

-        Interestedin international trading business

-        Have good understanding and communication skills

-        Curious and quick learner

-        Sense of responsibility for the work

-        Desire for challenges

FrenchTimber is anassociation founded in 2001 by the National Timber Federation of France, incharge of promoting French lumbers and wood products meeting on international market.

Headquartered in Paris, France, our representative office for China is located in Shanghai. Attendingtrade fairs, giving out technical information to public, taking part in conferenceand getting an insight look into local industry, we help Chinese wood industry know about French resource and make connection and business happen.
