12.9 放狗

11.21日考一战，12.9日考二战。两次考出来的分数都是一样 690. 伤心。看来要再练习练习语法考第三次了。
数学不是很难，遇到了很多JJ题。有一题非JJ题特别有印象。
D.S. what's the probablity of event E and event F both occur?
1) probability of event e occur is 0.4
2) probablity of event f occur is 0.6
具体数字不一定对。但是意思是这样。我选的是E. 因为这两个事件可以是独立的也可以是非独立的。 E应该是正确选项。后来看ESR，这题没有做错。

作文考得是 一个CFO 说 our profit/growth rate last year was 7% and the highest in the industry. The sales force contributes a lot to this success. However, our entertainment expense is 25% higher than our competitors. So we need to cut entertainment cost and restrict the expense. This will help increase our growth rate and further increase the profit.
我的思路是：
- the author didn't examine the root cause of the entertainment expense. Do we know if the entertainment expense contributed to the success of our business? our sales team brought clients out for business dinners and therefore built strong relationships with our clients. These client relationship building activities could lead to business opportunties and sales deals.
- the author didn't examine the negative impacts of cost cutting. how the cost cutting will impact the employee moral?
- no concrete evidence to prove that the cost cutting will contribute to growth and profit.
