unrepresentative.说D说明了对比对象不具有代表性，但是D不是说carpentry的质量越好，这个建筑就越不容被闲置或者拆除吗？这和不具有代表性有什么关系啊 TAT，原文并没有暗示他参观的都是闲置和被拆除的hotels啊（被拆除还怎么参观啊）

前提（果）：1930年以前的hotel的 carpentry work比1930年以后的好
结论（因）：1930以前的 carpentry work的手工好

样本的代表性：而是因为手工不好的都被拆除了，留下的都是手工好的，所以自然跟1930年以后的（包括好的和不好的）比，自然手工好很多。是因为样本本身就不代表1930年以前所有hotel的手工，而只是手工好的那些hotel的手工。
打个比方：

你说马云是中国人，王健林也是中国人；因为马云和王健林都比平均的美国人有钱，所以中国人都比美国人有钱。对吗？
