maybe watch some tourist video online about these two different cities and you will get a feel. I would go with UT Austin b/c 1) I like Austin better; 2) the job market in TX; 3) UT is a better engineering school and you can leverage the resources there.

城市大小适中，什么都有但又不会特别拥挤。生活氛围浓厚，有各种音乐节，酒吧。。。每年还可以去现场看moto gp和formula 1，夫复何求！

我觉得Austin一点也不stressful啊，和NYC比估计就相当于绵阳和上海，而且人都超级热情，有一次我半夜加油发现国内信用卡不能刷，走来一对夫妇帮我用他们的卡搞定还说不要钱（当然我还是坚持给他们现金了），不过人nice这一点我相信北卡也很好。Austin夏天虽然热，但是不是潮湿闷热，就像新疆那种太阳很烤人，但是晚上就还好。不过最好会开车，否则Austin说大不大说小不小，虽说有公交，好多1小时一班的有和没有也就差不多了。
