新加坡NUS, NTU, SMU MBA对比

不知坛子里有没有对这3家mba做过或者曾经做过深入了解的同学。
最近听了smu的宣讲，觉得印象挺不错的，反而去听ntu的介绍，觉得没什么新意。
可能smu的文凭目前含金量是比那两家低一点（有不同意见可以指正），但我对mba更看重的是个人能力的提升。
smu大力宣传他的美式教学，可是我纳闷了mba本来就是老美传来的，那两家mba是不是也是类似的教学模式, 而不是我对传统亚洲大学本科上课的傻听的刻板印象？
我打算读p/t，所以不知到有没有人在这三所念p/t，是不是每班也是上百号人马。。。有点多吧

Know some nus business master degree holders, who don't have work expr , joined tier 1 companies (for example Goldman Sachs) in SG. If possible , nus business school is a good choice. The other local schools are also working hard.
To get into finance, finance degree is not a must, people can have master degrees of management science, applied economics, public management... bx they can also gain accounting, economics & finance knowledge from these programmes.

Fundemental knowledge like, US dollar is appreciating, SG dollar is depreciating , CNY(rmb) is under the pressure of depreciation, why ? how to do equity research and valuation.. also can be .. alibaba IPO, why in New York, not Hongkong ? what approaches did IB use to come out the IPO price..  Knowledge can be gained from multi-programmes, not just a master degree in finance engineering or master of finance xyz..

... companies don't judge people just based on degree and specialization, they also look into leadership, teamwork, decision making...  many other soft skills.

what is the connection between the decision for which MBA and SGPR.. should people be convinced by persons, who don't have any facts, but PR ? sounds like a GMAT question

for those asking for data and facts, you may refer to government's survey on starting salary and % of students landing at least one offer before graduation ...

Also, you may also sign up for the campus tour which allows you to experience a real class in SMU -  I graduated from SMU for bachelor and find the seminar style interesting, however, it also means you need to study by yourself more before class to earn your participation which counts 10 to 20% of your final grade --> NO BS. Also there will usually be group projects for each module. It can be fun but it can also be a disaster I once had a class with 25% class participation and 45% for group project, final exam only counted for 10%, the rest went for several surprise quizzes during class.

It really depends on what you want to get out of the program:
If you want a more recognized degree worldwide, you may consider NUS,
If you want more practical experience and to impress your employer during the interview, i would suggest SMU (it teaches you not just academics but also interview skills, career planning, etc. at least for undergraduates)

我觉得他们对你的反驳也就没看清楚你说的是什么，你说的是指本地人的看法，他们却说的是NTU 和NUS从建校 ...

同意楼上观点，本地的认可对于以上三所学校无太大区别，对于国内出来留学的同学，大家就要考虑自己今后的发展了，是新加坡本地化，还是回国，还是去其它地方？有些同学拿到的奖学金，都是毕业后要回国发展的。

some people stayed, some left .. it depends on how good you are, but not where you are from.
