答案说C是无关选项，我下面提出我的分析：

题目说oil prices 和natural gas 的价格取决于冬日是否severe。这应该是在讨论对于oil prices 和natural gas 的需求demand的问题，这个类比推理的前提应该是oil prices 和natural gas 的供给supply应该保持不变，因为决定价格的因素除了需求还有供给。
C选项正好说了这个地方，为什么不选C？？？

原文没说油价取决于冬日是否severe，只是提到天然气价格取决于此。

C不搭嘎，因为这里提cold weather目的是指，天气冷所以Oil 或 gas 用量会大，若oil &gas互为替代品，则oil价格低， gas价格也低。B 正好说的这个。
C中假使Oil 和 gas产量受天气影响，也没说是supply 降低或增加，更没有most support
