Hi my friend, and thanks for reaching out!To be honest, the MSF is a very job-oriented degree. The overall goal for the MSF program is to give students the foundational knowledge that will help themsecure jobs as financial professionals. In that sense, UMD’s program will give you far more opportunities, even though the job market is currently lagging in the US (but it’s improving every day!). It is even harder to get any kind of job in the EU right now, given their economic situation and strict employment policies. Also, if your long-term goal is to apply for American B-schools, it makes much more sense to attend a graduate program in the USnow to study the culture and build connections. Hope this helps!
