F1签证后换学校的问题，sevis fee是必须转还是可以重新交？

本来UMD的签证都签好了，结果来了Brandeis MAief的ad，想去Brandeis但是不知道再去签一次会不会风险很大？
挺关心sevis fee的问题，听说可以联系UMD将sevis fee转过去，但是不想在签证之前被UMD知道，担心要是签不过就没学上了可怎么办QWQ……
所以我可不可以选择不转sevis fee而直接再交一次？多谢各位大牛们指点！！！

i-20上的sevis number没变就不用交吧

You are wrong. In your Visa, it has been notified that you will go to one exact school, and if you take this visa to go to another school, you can't register, because school authorities will check your passport and visa before your enrollment.
