新人发帖rrdw：Uchicago的Singapore Campus的MSMF好不好啊？

楼主实际上是去年就拿到offer了，但是因为家境一般感觉新加坡的学费要合人民币三四十万好贵啊想多赚点钱尽量不用爸妈的钱就defer了一年，然后工作了一年，现在到了要决定的时候了，想出国读这个书都是楼主的梦想，但是这个offer毕竟不是在米国本土，而且听说大部分课程都是视频授课，就和上网校一样的有点不习惯，也不知这个学历的认证程度好不好(之前浏览了论坛里的帖子有的人说是学历证明上是看不出是新加坡哪个校区，但是如果查大使馆的盖章记录就能看出来)。其实也是关键找工作好不好啦，似乎在论坛上看到的有例子是回国工作或者去香港的，赶脚去了这里，米国是待不了了，不知留在新加坡可能性大不大呢，就业情况到底是怎么样的啊？

hi xiaowanzi, I think you'll be better off going to the US instead of the UChicago Singapore campus. The reasons are several. 1) I see cost is a concern for you (so is for most people I believe), in terms of tuition and living expenses, Singapore is more expensive than most US cities except NY, LA or maybe a few other major cities. 2) Singapore job market is not that great right now, maybe still slightly better than the US, but not by a big margin 3) I've visited the Singapore campus before, it's basically just  a floor in an office building in downtown, so you don't get the typical campus life and facilities 4) I dont know about you, but I wouldn't pay the same tuition for watching videos.
