Master-Level Graduate Research Assistantship Position in Nanoscale Laser Devices (Full scholarship, two years)

Department of Electrical Engineering,  University of Minnesota Duluth, USA

Description
The research work focuses on the theoretical modeling of ultrafast pulse progression  in nanoscale laser devices with intracavity nonlinearities.

Requirement:
1) B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
2) Well understanding on semiconductor physics, quantum mechanics, nonlinear optics and electromagnetics
3) Solid mathematical background and computational skills

Starting date: January 2013
Duration: two years, full scholarship.
