1- 我觉得for which，还原成 $ 7 per year was previously paid for the cost of higher education~~不太好

2- 另外，原文有很明显的比较之意，但是用从句，这层意思就淡了。

"for which was previously paid" makes no sense....who paid? Paid whom? 意思应该是学生pay. 可这样听起来是cost of higher education paid.

把which 从句展开来，替换掉which就是， for higher education was previously paid $7 per year.
这个从句没有主语，有主语，句子的意思也不对，变成了sb每年因为更高的教育得到7美元。

B中， for which was previously paid ...虽然for which指代逻辑上没问题了，但是for which..还原后变成 for the cost of higher education was paid 7 per year.  缺少主语，整个从句变成了目的状语，也失去了和前面330的可比性
