那我说说我的理解吧

这题是问哪个选项削弱了文中提出的反驳环境学家预测的观点，也就是应该是支持环境学家的观点，不知道这个我理解是不是对了。

原文主要是说5年前由于chemical spill的原因阻止了某种海龟在baker海滩下蛋了，不过从那以后在那下蛋的海龟的数量还增加了。于是作者说环境学家关于此种海龟数量将要减少的预测是不成立的。

b说海龟要到10岁才开始回到海滩下蛋。我觉得这个和原文没有关系啊，原文根本就没提到海龟下蛋的年龄的问题。我原本选的是E，我知道E也是无关选项，但是我真的想不通B是怎么削弱了反驳环境学家的作用的。请各位帮帮忙。谢谢
