应该是不冲突的。要注意的是them有先行词，而且them没有指代混乱或指代错误等问题

答案是B 因为rising interest  rates中rising是做定语的， because后引导的句子主语是rates所以谓语是复数，并且原句中是用rising interest  rates所以其关注的是rates本身而不是 a rise这个动作 所以CDE改变句子原意
