关于本月愈发里inasmuch as的问题

本月换裤之初，某个筒子回忆双钩的时候，说在愈发题里看到了inasmuch as，不知道是什么意思。

今天本人在看OG12的解释时，在p714右边第59题的解释里看到了这个词组，


In that is a conjunction that means inasmuch as


但OG同时告诉我们in that是stilted and overly formal，而且uses two words when one would do。


所以in that是不理想的用法，那如果换做inasmuch as是不是也要等同于in that，然后降格考虑呢？

个人觉得选Inasmuch as, 在某种程度上, 在某个范围内,
有这么一句话,类似于考题, as a whole 通常放在句末使用, 表达的意思是整体上来说.
Inasmuch as ACEs affect the health and well-being of the workforce,

应该还有一题涉及到inasmuch as，以前的寂静提供有下面几个选项，跟本月的寂静提供者确认过是一样的
题目：As much as, ------------------
选项有  A. as much as
B. as a whole
C. Inasmuch as  
D. As such
E. On a whole

应该还有一题涉及到inasmuch as，以前的寂静提供有下面几个选项，跟本月的寂静提供者确认过是一样的
题目：As much as, ------------------
选项有  A. as much as
B. as a whole
C. Inasmuch as

字典里确实只有on the whole与as a whole......
