Your mileage may vary.
Personally, I would choose Yale over half of M7, especially Berkeley and MIT (I work in high-tech)
It really depends on what kind of education/career you want to pursue

The same school can provide different utility, happiness and fulfillment to different person.

And it might be also hard to compare apple with pear. ( such as Yale vs. Tuck )

Maybe actually your body needs a pear for your thirsty, but the apple looks nice and you cann't help having a bite !

No, we do not say ROI for marriage, yet we seek utility, happiness and fulfillment. What makes you achieve the above are just your criterion of selecting schools.

Yeah it is definitely a marrige rather than an investment for me. so let's not to be too rational. We should not calculate the ROI of a marriage.   congratulations on your new CD role!

I woud rather say the 2-year bschool experience is more like “marrige”. hehe

If you take MBA as an investment, then see how the VC/PE firms do the due diligence work. Further, not many people have the luxury of spending 2 years on something they dislike.

Dig as much as possible out of the surface. And you will see which one fits you better.
