Honestly, I think the only advantage with a foreign Passport would be the more favorable statistical quoate assign to the region versu the one assigned to China. Obviously the latter is way much more competitive. However, do keep in mind that most of B Schools or any Graduate Schools do look at your overall Education background, such as where you complete you Undergraduate Studies. Therefore, if you graduated from a average Chinese College with EU Passport, the Foreign Passport itself won't offer too much of edge for your application. -- by 会员 shabenfan (2011/4/27 0:00:58)
u mean that b-schools favor candidates from european countries? may be true, because there are much fewer european applicants than chinese ones btw, i finished both my undergraduate and graduate study in eu and don't think, my academic backgrounds would be a matter, otherwise i wouldn't have joined mbb (pls don't understand me cocky)
i'm just indecisive, whether maintaining the chinese citizenship could have a beneficial impact on my application, because my working and studying experiences abroad in the last years are points, which could let me stick out of the masses, and i'm afraid of losing this plus by changing nationality... |
