97.  Delta Products Inc. has recently switched at least partly from older technologies using fossil fuels to
new technologies powered by electricity. The question has been raised whether it can be concluded that
for a given level of output Delta’s operation now causes less fossil fuel to be consumed than it did

答案选B 请问D为什么错，其实就是对BD2的理解，D说把结论变成了问题不是也承认了BD2是结论了吗？

似乎明白了一点：Delat products...powered by electricity这句，由于后面先说：the question has been raised whether ...,所以此时它是个背景，因为我们不知道能否conclude that（结论）。然而，文章最后说，yes！ since...对这个结论的内容作出了肯定（即：承认能够推出结论），此时我们知道，这个原本是background的东东，现在也是一个premise，是support作用的！

总之，根据意思来，即使background也是premise，只要知道它不是负相关即可！！求问NN大神，这样对么~？

其实对第一句黑体字是否是一个背景情况还是答案中所说的provides support真的很微妙。好像稍微一理解还是可以想到更换了新的技术对结论的是否少用了fuel还是起到support作用的，不过感觉有点牵强。

我觉得 Delat products...powered by electricity. 这句就是背景信息, 为啥B说它是support for the conclusion呢?  感觉这句话完全没有观点倾向性,就是个叙述, 更像是做context的么
