这周三收到的通知。Package大家都知道了，很generous，的确很有诱惑力啊，而且当初visit的时候跟faculty聊得很愉快，感觉是个很environment很nice的department。

howardzou还是很厉害的，大家要互相学习，有research经历会减少很多infomation asymmetry，不论是潜力还是motivation都有signal了，这比之毫无finance research经历的人不失为一个很重要的优势，而其又是美国大学。

大家要择其善者而从之啊，cd上的一切分享都是帮助而非义务

A liberal arts college ranked between 20 and 30...undergrad GPA 3.96, though I heard from multiple sources that high liberal arts college GPA is heavily discounted in PhD admissions, so I am really not sure how much help my GPA played in the admissions process.

haha, I totally agree with you, that's why I didn't really expect anything at the beginning. If there's anything that helped, maybe I was able to talk about research and my understanding of the field at a deeper level, and relate them to my coauthored research papers..
