一直没有明白这句话的逻辑意义,请nn指点为什么选后者

如果社区的人愿意出钱，学生还用打工吗？

If people in community would not be willing to donate money to the school, then even if the principal says he will walk naked, the students won't be able to collect enough money.

Thus the willingness of the community to help the fund-raising effort of the school is a necessary assumption for the conclusion that the students eventally would raise enough money from the community.
