哪个学校的placement更好点，留在香港高校的机会更大点？

Ps：我知道都挺难，我也可以第二选择回国。但是还是期望去一所更容易留在hk的。
有朋友能提供下两所学校PHD具体的placement么？

In my opinions, HK can provide very productive PhD graduates and so some can get offers in USA. However, do not forget that the job of assistant professors is not only closing door to do research. They need to teach and do administrative work (communicate with different kinds of people). It is difficult persuading American universities that when HK PhD graduates do not have American experience, they can perform well in teaching and service. From the perspective of undergraduate and master students, they doubt the quality of their teachers if the teachers get a degree from Asia but not USA. So American universities, of course, tend to employ American graduates.

In finance and accounting, the HKUST AND CHUK are the best in hongkong. The placement of HKUST is better than other university.

Cannot agree more. There're determinants of placement other than ranking or publication for mainland universities. Some are hired because they got a degree from US. Some for they're just not Chinese. Some HK phd got placed to school like NUS or NTU, better than many US phd, due to the productivity or connections.
Overall the placement of HK schools is not comparable with their research output (especially HKUST). I believe they didn't pay enough attention to their phd training. Or their (junior) faculty are not so helpful in working with PhD students. Yet the potential is there. Look at the placement of INSEAD. Why cannot HKUST aim at that?
