这确实很有争议，不同意5楼的说法，我一开始看这道题的时候就以为B的思路和C是一样的，是在比不同作物之间的差别，都和modified 没有关系...所以当时直接排除了B。但是E，是无关中稍微有关的了，farmers要用大量的insecticide的话，就算每公顷的modified cotton用的除虫剂便宜一点点，大量的话就便宜很多了。
取非之后，如果不是，那么就没什么好处了，对结果还是有影响的~
但不得不说，没有一个选项是我设想的...

gmat本来选的就是最佳选项吧 并不一定是完美的选项

排除法,总价与单价X量两个变量有关. 那么量是稍微少了, 判断总价经济不经济就该是单价决定,只有B是符合的. 但感觉B不是很完美,最后应该是modified cotton, 这样不会有歧义.

可是这个说的是other crops，并不是在modified和normal之间做比较啊？
难道正如上面某位说的other crops也包括了modified?

如果对于2种产物的农药单价不一样 那么农药量相同的话购买农药的总价也会不一样

最后经济效果也就有差别了  其他4个全无关啊

曾在BDE中徘徊，最终明白了正确答案B的意义所在。
other crops是指除了ordinary cotton以外的所有，即包括midified crop. 显然能够对结论造成直接影响。

D Whether the farmers who have tried the modified seed planted as many acres of cotton, on average, as farmers using the ordinary seed did.
以前的帖子很多人都对这个选项有好感，其实都是意思没看明白，并不是说每亩产量高，而是说farmers种了更多的棉花（总量），完全不沾边。

是我的最初选项，因为以前OG一道类似的题目答案是农民不必要用那么多杀虫剂，但是还是用了过多的那题。受了影响选了E. 其实E要推倒答案要加入许多自己的主观假设，太不直接了。换句话说对E回答yes or no对结婚没有直接影响。
